Bad Hair Days are gone: How to rock a scarf series

This is Part I of my accessories series.  Winter, spring, summer, and fall are all good times to wear a scarf, my favored accoutrement.  But how does one wear it??  Well, there are 10 ways and I'm going to show you how to do each one effortlessly.  Bad hair day?  No problem.  Introducing the first way to wear a scarf...

It's starting to sprinkle a bit.  But that's okay, my scarf's got me covered.

Enough of this pretending it's warm out.  It's a wrap!

May your day be filled with love and your mind be at peace.

Inaugural Style: Presidential Inspired Sparkles and Stripes

Um, it's cold out here guys...

Gotta 'move my body' like the First Lady's health initiative, to stay warm.

Or I could double as Secret Service to get closer to the heater on stage.

Okay, maybe that's not such a good idea...

Red Carpet Rundown: Golden Globes 2013

Congratulations to my future BFFs Amy Poehler and Tina Fey on a hilarious job well done
And in the spirit of humor (I love these folks), let the red carpet rundown begin...

We're going to play a little game called, Right Way. Wrong Way.  Sometimes we all go astray but that's why we have friends to bring us back to the light.

Svelte Sheath:
 Right Way

Wrong Way
Not only do you have to have swag but the fabric has to be lush.

Yellow:
Cuidado, it's probably the hardest color to wear

 Right Way

Wrong Way

White in the Winter:

 Right Way

  Wrong Way
Look, I'm southern and we have two tones of white, winter white and regular white.

Prints:
Right Way

 Wrong Way
#Ican't

Body Illusion Lace:
It's oh so revealing...or is it?
 Right Way

Wrong Way
(hurts me to say it)

One more round...
Right Way

Wrong Way
OMgoodness!

Classic Hollywood:
 Right Way

Wrong Way
This dress is sad.  It needs a bra, boning in the bodice, and a hug.

Plunging Neckline:
It's the perfect balance between revealing and chic.
Right Way

Wrong Way
Chest out, shiny satin, high split, dark eyeshadow...this number has too much going on.
One star on the mic at a time please.

 Black Bodycon:
Comfortable and commanding
 Right way

Wrong Way
This two piece trend should really stop before it starts.

This is a section I like to call, "That's what she said."

 Really?

 Honorable Mention
Because she's smart and funny AND beautiful

Because she's determined and real AND a glamazon

Because she started out being famous as a side kick and has shown us who the real boss is.

Because her self deprecating humor and consistent use of the color orange are signs that she's awesome.

Because I found this pic and his jacket is dope.  AND because when I was a groundling lil' intern at NBC he always gave me the brown people head nod.
